BAI2 Format

The BAI2 format name comes from the Bank Administration Institute. It is a specification for two different file formats issued by banks. In one case it contains daily bank statement transactions and in the other the payments and settlements received as part of Lockbox processing. When using the term one must understand whether it’s BAI2 for bank statements or for Lockbox processing.
